We have alot of woodlice will they do any damage to my veg patch?
Question:if so how do i stop them in a non chemical way
Answers:
Woodlice are supposed to clear up decayed plant material. The ones in our garden haven't been told, and they feast on all sorts of things especially tomatoes and courgettes.
You could try a bait of cooked potato, grated cheese, dried blood, strawberries or scooped-out oranges put under a plate or tile in a damp spot overnight. ( The next morning, collect and destroy the woodlice. or let them go a distance away as they don't travel far.
I also had a lot of woodlice but they never did any harm to my veg. The most important thing is to keep the garden tidy, not to leave any rubbish, rotting leaves etc around.
Wont do any harm. It is vegetarians in the garden that you dont want!
Won't do any damage. They only eat rotting vegetation, such as dead leaves, rotten wood etc.
No, woodlice live amongst decaying vegetable matter, they will not harm healthy plants. They just look a bit creepy but are quite harmless
