Is Rubarb heat tolerant?


Question:I love Rubarb and wonder if it is heat tolerant?

Answers:
I live in the desert with summer temps in the mid 100s and freezing winter temps.
Our rhubarb does very well ~ the plant grows quite early in the season for use (around March) and needs to be harvested in early to mid May.
