How do I know when to cut down my alliums...they are all just green now...and how far down do I cut them?

Question:

Answers:
Let the green nourish the bulbs until it starts to turn yellow. Then cut back.

Treat alliums just like tulips or daffodils. Leave the folliage until it turns yellow. The leaves feed the plant for next year. Then when they get yellow and spotted, cut back or gently pull the leaves.
