Frogs in Outdoor Plant?

Question:Does anyone know if frogs can kill an outdoor potted plant. I have lost two flowering plants to aphids - i saw the aphids on these plants and today when I came home my impatient was not doing well - very wilted and when I stirred up the soil 3 frogs (yes 3) came hopping out of the plant. Help I need advise. Thanks.

Answers:
Frogs eat insects so that is a good thing. They are probably eating the aphids.

Now the bad news, frogs like water and impatiens don't like wet roots. If the soil is really wet, the plant will look wilted due to water overload. Make sure that the pot has a drainage hole and that excess water is removed. Do not overwater.

Impatiens also are shade plants which means that if you are having to water daily, you need to move the pot to a more shaded area.

Never had any problems with frogs, they generally don't come far this into the neighborhood. The people closest to the creek on our street has beautiful plants, and there are frogs all over the place there.

Those pesky aphids started attacking my plants bad this year. *grumbles*
We have had tree frogs in are hanging plants on the patio for years and have never had any problems, In fact i enjoy them.
I don't think the frogs will hurt your plants. In fact, they should help them by eating the aphids and other insects.
