How do i create a lawn?

Question:I just moved into a place with a very small backyard, all dirt. Is there a simple step by step process to get that dirt to a point i can lay down some sod?

Answers:
1. rake the dirt free of any rocks and debris.
2. rake the dirt as level as you can.
3. water the dirt to compact it.
4. lay down a few inches of top soil on the dirt and roll it (with a water roller) to press it down compacting it also.
5. ground is now ready for sod!

take a dump all over it
Well, that depends on what kind of lawn you want to create. Being I don't know all the details, I think perhaps you should call your local co-operative office or seed store (here its my feed store for gardening, like the greenhouse) and they have seeds for st augustine, well, all kinds of grasses actually... and sod that you can just lay down and then soak and it will eventually take root and just grow. They also have rolls of sod that you just buy by the yard or whatever and then you can unroll it as well in the square footage area of your prelawn, soak and then wha-la! Lawn!
Simple, level it to your satisfaction, use a rake to roughen the surface up so sod can settle well, lay sod, water daily
yes, you can easily make that place full of flowers, if that place contain of those thing which r helpfull in making soil for planting then intead of those thing, put other dirt in a corner so that it become easy for you to made a place for planting. Then after slowly-slowly remove that dirt. And start planting.
