I have three 2 metre high photinia trees growing (Chinese Fire Tree?)?
Question:in Mollymook, New South Wales, Aust. Anyone want them? Good screening plants. You'd have to dig them out. Free to a good home if you don't mind the digging.
Answers:
Would, except I'm in the U.S.!! Why do you want to get rid of them? If they are too large, you can cut Photinia way back, you can shape it or make a hedge, etc. You can cut off lower branches and trim it into a more tree-like shape (I did that to one, so I could mow under it.) Move it to a spot between your home and either the neighbors house or the ugliest view!! (Maybe that is the same thing?) Live well and do good.
