Is there a plant that gives off a cat urine smell in spring?

Question:every spring my neighborhood smells like cat urine. I am a vet tech so I know what cat urine smells like, and it isn't quite the same. I am wondering if there is a plant, bush, tree or any plant that gives off this ordor. It is really strong. Thanks!

Answers:
boxwood bushes will do it too. i had some planted in front of my livingroom windows. when the weather starts to warm I would open the windows and I started to notice it. i guess when the sun warms the leaves of the bush they give off this musty urine like smell. i have since removed odorus plants and replaced with red barberry bushes.

Yes - there is. I have been on a endless mission to find its name - but with no luck. Rest assured it is a plant!
i believe it is call the may night.
juniper bushes
There is a species of juniper that is used as ground cover; to me, it REALLY smells like cat urine - NOT something I want in my garden.
I don't know about the cat urine odor, but there is a flowering tree - Bartlett Pear I think - that smells pretty rank.

Our neighbor has one of those, and it smells like something literally died. Hope somebody finds the answer for you - I want to be sure to avoide whatever horrible thing this might be!
perennial salvia. It has a very strong odor especially if touched
