Plants and their Classes?

Question:I'm doing a bio project and need to collect samples of plants and molds. Does anyone know what class and phylum a Weeping Japenese Cherry is in? Or it would be really helpful if you give me five different samples of the class Coniferophyta. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:
Weeping cherry is in the Class Magnoliopsida and in the phylum Magnoliophyta.

Within the Conipherophytes are many families including Taxaceae (Yews), Cupressaceae (Cypresses), Pinaceae (Pines), Sciadopityaceae (Umbrella pines) and Araucariaceae (Araucaria conifers).

Hope this helps.
