Ever grown purple potatoes?
Question:I found some purple potatoes at Lowe's to plant today. I bought them because I had never seen them before. Anyone had any experience with these or eaten them??

Purple potatoes are generally used as an accent in pots. It looks really nice trailing over the edge of the pot and pulls the look together. I have not eaten them before but have seen them used in pots and am planning to use myself them this year and may eat the potatoes at the end of the growing season.

yes, these taste a little better if u ask me! they grow about the same as ur typical brown ones too!
They tasted great; however, mine did not produce as much fruit as your average beef steak or roma variety. Enjoy!
