Will salt eradicate Lilly pads around my dock?

Salt (Sodium Chloride) probably will, however it'll kill off a whole bunch of other beneficial stuff near your dock too...fish, snails, beneficial bacteria, etc. The quantity of salt you would need to do this would be enormous as well.
