Is it possible to pump water from inside a liner to outside the liner without water leakage?
Question:I'm looking to add a water feature around our firepit which is 48" round. Is there a way to have the liner, which would line the dirt surrounding the cement firepit, pump water from the liner to a pvc tube that runs up the middle of the firepit wall? Essentially what I need to do is be able to pump water from inside the liner to outside the liner without it leaking (ie. the pvc tube running up the middle of the firepit would not be inside the liner). Is this possible?
Answers:
Sure. There are many types of fittings (some are glued in place, others clamp in place using gaskets, etc) that allow water to be drawn from the inside of a pond liner through a pipe. This is how many non-submersible pond pumps/filters are plumbed. Check with the company that makes your specific liner, call a pond store, or search the net for pond liner accessories, plumbing, or drains.
If you buy a glue-on type make sure it is compatable with your liner material.
Here are examples of two types (there are a lot of different manufacturers):

Certainly! You will need to visit a good pond store for the right fittings and glue. That is the first waterfall firepit I have ever heard of!!
