Top soil question?

Question:When I was planting veggie plants, I didn't use any top soil. I'm new to gardening and didn't know I was supposed to. Will it help if I put it on now? What will it change, if anything. Also, why do you even need top soil?

Answers:
It's not too late to add top soil. It certainly won't hurt anything. Top soil is packed with nutrients that will help the plants to grow healthy and strong. If you feel like you need to use a fertilizer (as many people will suggest), use something organic since you'll be eating the end product.

Top soil helps air and nutrients into the soil so the roots can grow faster. At this point, just fertilize with a liquid that has root hormone in it.

Next year (this fall) start a compost heap, till the compost and some top soil into the garden next year before planting, you will be good to go.
mix black cotten, glay&sand, use for any vegitablesplants, flowerplants.
