What do I put a cutting in after I have taken it off the plant?

Question:

Answers:
Some cuttings work well putting in water, but you need to make sure you change the water every day. Other growing mediums that work well are peat, sand, perlite or vermiculite. 1/2 sand and 1/2 peat works very well. The starter medium you can buy at the garden centers is usually a peat/perlite mix, but it is a lot cheaper just to make your own mix.

if you dont want to keep it..the garbage! be more specific in your question
If you are trying to root it put it in water. Or soil and keep it wet.
plain ole h2o ,, until u see small roots develope then transplant to go starter mixture,,,,, may be disttled water,,,
Water. In a vase, glass, whatever - just keep it in water until you see some nice roots. Then plant it.
Either put it in water, or if you want to try and grow it you can put root growing powder on it and the nput it in dirt.
For most cuttings you put them in water until roots begin to develop and then plant them in potting compost. You can also get rooting powder - you dip the cutting in the powder and plant the cutting in potting compost. You can also get a rooting gel where you put the cutting in the gel until the roots are formed before potting in potting compost.
