What does it take to make a beautiful HUMMINGBIRD GARDEN?

Question:I am making one and have already gotten most of the weeds/roots out but what would make it beautiful:
what plants what dec.

Answers:
Well be sure to include some sugar water feeders. As for flowers, they like columbine, penstemones, tiger lilies, indian paintbrushes, petunias, beesbalm, cleome, hyacinth bean, verbena, pentas, nasturtiums, canna, fuchsia, cardinal flower, honeysuckle, trumpet vine, coral bells, delphinium, flowering tabacco, four o'clocks, foxglove, geraniums, gladiolus, hollyhocks, sage, snapdragon, zinnia, sage. Also, if you have a mister, they like to fly through the water. Trying going to the site Birdsandblooms.com. They have some great hummingbird tips on there right know. I subscribe to the magazine and boy is it great. It's my favorite. Remember to keep your sugar water feeders well cleaned. In hot weather every couple of days. They will start getting mold in there if you don't and this will make the hummers sick. Hope this helps

a bird house on a pole surrounded by flowers that smell sweet, bricks add a nice finish to border with and a steppingstone path. my aunt has one and it is beautiful.
Hummingbirds like lots of plants with red flowers on them.red petuninas and lots of bright colors
They love red flowers or any bright color. Also flowers that have a funnel like flower. We have many different kinds of Hummers every summer. We have a variety of colors and some flowers that bloom early(for when they first arrive), and some that bloom all summer at different times. Just about any thing that blooms will get them coming in. Petunias in a variety of colors either in hanging pots or in ground are nice. They smell wonderful too. Another good one is any type of Lily. Our early bloomers are Jacobs Ladder and Columbine. Put up a couple of Hummer feeders too. Enjoy!
Red flowers for sure. I had them come when I grew impatiens, azaleas, petunias, nasturtiums, geraniums. And they love the feeders with the red liquid in them. How about a bird bath in your decor? Or a statue? Maybe a wagon filled with some of the aforementioned flowers. Or a trellis for the nasturtiums to grow up? And don't forget the tall cool iced tea for yourself when you're done!
well humming birds favorite plants are hibiscus trees and snap dragons. but for the winter and summer that will look great in your garden and attract alot of hummingbirds are chaparral currant, fuchsia-flowered gooseberry, and manzanita. a plant that is pretty hard to find but humming birds go all over are called lipstick plants. Also put a couple decorative hummingbird feeders and put 1 part sugar and 4 parts water in it (u have to boil till dissolved and do not put honey in it). i also forgot to mention to buy ANY kind of sage and there will be tons of hummingbirds and butterflies.
