Burning bush?
Question:i live in ohio, when can i trim my burning bush? and how far can i trim it back? thanks a bunch
Answers:
Shrubs in the genus Euonymus, mostly known as spindles, in the family Celastraceae, are also called burning bush in North America, because of their bright red foliage in fall. It would be best to trim back in fall when temps are cool, but if you have a problem you can trim them any time you don't have harsh sun-then keep them shaded with some type of cover for a few days until the wounds from pruning heal over. Good luck
I wouldnot trim it too far. It always itches when the hair comes back. I do applaude you though I think you will like it short and neet and so will your women.
With a burning bush, you should always be careful not to trim too much. the reasons being:
1) Bushes were cool in the 70s.
2) Herpes
3) Misc. rashes
4) friction
5) Comfort-interchangable with #4
6) tremendous mess if you trim the whole thing
7) you have to trim all the way back for it to look right.
8) itchiness
9) The fact that you live in Ohio is irrelevent.
Other irrelevent facts are the size of your wang, or trimmer, what type of pruning device you use, the price of tea in china, and prime rate being 8.25%. It is important however to note when trimming a burning bush to always wear goggles. You may want to dowse the bush with water before proceeding with any of this advice. Tell Moses I said what's up!!
( rolling my eyes ) Everyone is a comedian.
I trim ours back periodically over the summer. I just grab the hedge trimmers and keep it under control. This has never harmed it. If anything It grows even better. Word of warning: if you've never had one of these shrubs before, theyre prolific. I have baby shrubs all over the place! I just cut the saplings back to the ground when I see them.
