Does anyone know about variegated maples?
Question:found maple tree. looks like traditional maple not japanese
the leaves are green light green and white. does anyone know what type of maple this is?

There is variegated Sycamore maple whose leaves look similar to that of a Norway maple. Here is its pict: http://www.forestfarm.com/search/closeup...
There is also a variegated Red maple. Its leaves would look like a sugar maple only smaller. I could find no online pict for this tree. Here is a pict of a non-variegated red maple leaf so that you can see its shape: http://www.yhc.edu/external/bio/acruleaf...
