How do I stop the water in my water feature smelling bad?
Question:I have a pebble pool with a water fountain. However, after a few weeks, the water (which is naturally 'trapped' in the pool) begins to smell quite bad. Is there a chemical which can added to stop the smell?

Bleach will clean it.
chlorine, bleach or change the water when it starts 2 smell! x
A small ammount of chlorine bleach will eliminate the smell.
Chlorine kills the bacteria that cause the smell.
Stop the children pissing in it.
stop peeing in it
buy a pump a filter, clean filter at least once a week
clean out the water feature with a strong solution of bleach, then when you fill it up add a small amount of bleach to it but don't just go out now and add the bleach, make sure you clean it out first, it will be much more effective that way!
if you go to a pet shop you can buy a chemical to add to the water to stop algae growth and if you add milton or dettol to it it will kill bacteria too and smell fresh.
