Bug help!!?
Question:Ok I live in Utah. By my radish and squash garden I see these really tiny green bugs on this tree right by it. Does anyone know what they are? Also today when I went outside to water my soon-to-be radishes and squashes I saw this shiny gooey stuff on the ground where my plants are going to grow. Also, I saw the same stuff on the tree that usually has the bugs on it. Does anyone know what it is?

I am not sure how tiny the bugs are but if they are a bright light green and a little bigger than a pin head you have aphids. If they are metallic green and about the size of an eraser head you have Japanese Beetles. As far as the slimey substance you see on the ground, I am guessing in the morning you see this, snails produce quite a goo. They will travel up trees to nest and are very active at night. Some people use strips of zinc or a border of zinc to stop them. As far as the other bugs, spray on some Neem Oil found in your community garden center. Both aphids and Japanese Beetles are voracious eaters.
i hate bugs
dunno what it is but you can sprat a solution of water and washing up liquid on it to repell the bugs!

Maybe spittlebug also called froghoppers. They stay cool in a foam they make from plant juice. They're quite small and bright green at the immature stage.
perhaps aphids. they leave behind something called honeydew, although i don't think it is gooey. maybe you have aphids and slugs.
The shiny gooey stuff sounds like slug tracks or snail tracks.
Probably Aphids. However if they are a beetle with black spots and look like a ladybug except light green then those are cucumber beetles. The shinny gooey stuff is from slugs/snails beer or bait will take care of this.
I'm not much into bugs, but I've located this information for you. Hopefully, it will help to determine which insect it is, so you are able to exterminate the nasty little bugger!
Looks pretty interesting. I'll be saving this one in my favorites, as I've noticed some strange little garden friends.
