Tobacco Juice a good pesticide?

Question:Does anyone know if it is? Ive read that its helpful.

Answers:
It kills aphids very easily. When I was younger, I used to make it by soaking old cigarette butts in water and then slopping it onto anywhere I saw aphids. You can also buy it by the bottle (probably made in a factory where they soak old cigarette butts in water and then package the liquid).

Collect cigarette butts, pour boiling water over them and brew some nasty tea to spray on your plants. Yes, it works, and it's cheep if you are not the person smoking. Cigarettes and pipe tobacco have other chemicals in them besides tobacco, so be sure to wash anything before you eat it. Different bugs need different strength 'tea' so watch for them to return to see how often you need to spray.
Well, it kills humans, so I guess it would kill bugs.
Jerry Baker, a yard and garden guru, used to use a lot of odd mixtures (things that you have around your house) and used to use tobacco juice mixed with other stuff for his garden. I suggest you look him up on Amazon.com and get one of his books. I have the one about his granny. It's superb!
