Anyone have a solution for weeds?
Question:My yard has been over come by weeds. I have tried Weed-ex, killex, They all just keep on coming and I don't have the time to just sit outside and weed all day. Anyone have a handy solution to my problem for me?

Vegtable juice
salt
Vineger and lemon in a spray bottle
Use some good ground cover to beat the weeds like sedum and other rockery plants etc
or get a kettle of boiling water add salt and just throw it all other the weeds be careful not to harm insects as they are vittel to gardening and are decreasing massivley
Burn them if you can. See if you can rent a blowtorch.
A seed can remain ungerminated in the soil for up to thirty years and that's just common or garden varieties of plant.
Therefore, in order to control weeds you have to use an effective ongoing program of weed removal. If you wish to use weedkiller then you have to identify the types of weeds affecting your property.
Any glysophate based weedkiller applied every two weeks or so will kill most perennial and annual weeds - like dandelions for instance.
Tougher weeds like bramble or nettle need to be dug out and any regrowth sprayed with a stronger than normal mix. Weeds such as Mare's tails require disinfectant to be added to the weedkiller/water mix as they have a silica covering which repels the wetting agent in the chemical.
Simply put, you may need to use weedkiller and manual removal to clear your property of weeds and repeat the process as weed seeds are deposited by natural sources, such as wind or birds.
I have worked for 20 years as a gardener and I have never been able to eradicate weeds without continuous maintenance.
Pour vinegar on them...only thing is, vinegar will kill every other green thing around them too so you might want to pick up some grass seed ;)
