Why is my rosmary not growing?


Question:I live in zone 9, and I get full sun for the area for about 4-6hours
I don't get it! It looks 100% healthy, but how can it grow... all the other plants are growing up faster, plz help, thanx!!

I'm in zone 9 also, be patient! Rosemary likes full sun and a good drainage soil... as you are well aware we are in a dry season. how long did you plant it? is it well established? it need regular watering. did you use a slow release fertilizer (dynamite)?
I would not worry, it is a very hardy plant for our area just a slow grower.


If you have took it directley out of the pot and just planted it into the ground you shouldn't have you should loosen the roots, know a lot of people are frightend of doing this but all you do is get a fork (an old eating one) and press it in and out all over the root ball and then once you've done that water it all over then put it in the ground (after adding some rooster poo note adding too much rooster poo can burn the roots so add about a table spoon full) also bearing in mind Rosemary is not very fast growing.
