Mouse in the house problem?
Question:I have called Orkin and they have came out, yet we still occasionally see a mouse. How do I get rid of these pests for good, and what do I tell Orkin because obviously what they are doing is NOT working?
Answers:
I don't know where you live But you will Never totally get rid of Mice.I use Mouse traps Put some peanut butter on one and put it against the wall because that where they run.Or they also have sticky ones that once they get on it there is no way there going to get off of it.We have corn and soybeans Fields beside our house, the corn don't bring out the mice near as much as the soy beans does.Moth Balls in your dresser drawers.
Orkin should have some sort of a guarantee. They need to look under the house if you have insulation down there. The mice will build nests and leave feromones that invite other mice even if the current residents have been exterminated. A spray can be put down that will keep the feromones from being smelled by other mice.
Buy a Cat, It works every time. The Mouse smells/hears the cat and the mouse is gone. It's really a NO BRAINER!
Unless you have a bug problem you are wasting your money on Orkin.
I'd get a cat. I had a couple of mice once and I went to wal-mart. I picked up this trap that you could catch the mice and it wouldn't kill them. One day the cat was going nuts and I looked in the trap and there was the mouse. I haven't had one sense.
we used sticky traps... of course we knew where the mice were (candy closet of course :P) so we placed a sticky trap nearby and caught seven mice. we also used a large iron trap that's kinda like a container that let's the mice go in but not out... i used peanut butter as bait in there. 3 or those seven mice were caught in there. good luck!
maybe u could trap them yourself...you could use a mouse trap and instead of using cheese in the mouse trap's hook...get a piece of roasted coconut in the hook...leave it in the place where you usually see the mice...then if u spot a mouse in the morning ,you either let it outside somewhere or you could get it killed by immersing the mouse with the mouse trap into a bucket of water...if this works out ,I'm sure each day you can get a mouse kicked out of your house
by a cat thats y i have 1.r u could put up traps r both
