How to take plant the seeds of a Lavender plant?

Question:

Answers:
The best way to propagate lavender is by taking a stem cutting - when you trim the plant you will have loads of material to use - you only need about 4 inches(10 cm) of stem, of which you trim the bottom inch or so and pop it into some compost (or just stick them into the ground nearby)

Most seed I collect I do by cutting off the good stems and putting into brown bags, alternatively you can attach the brown bag onto the stems with an elastic band.
