Where does grass seed come from?
Question:Apples have seeds, oranges have seeds all other fruits have seeds....so where does grass seed come from? if you buy a bag of grass seed there is a lot of seeds in the bag but it has no source of where the seeds come from!

Most people don't let their grass go to seed, which usually takes 2-3 weeks depending on the type of grass.
But grass, just like any other plant produces seed at the tip and if you let your grass re-seed itself at the beginning of the season it makes your lawn stronger/less weeds etc.
Grass seed comes from the tips of the grass when its matured.
Don't you know? Haven't you heard? It come off grass trees.They go around and pluck the seeds off the trees ! It grows on the grass silly! You never see the seeds because most people mow their lawns. But that is truly where it comes from.Bye
