I fed my venus flytraps and they've been closed for like a month and now are turning black WHY ARE THEY DIEING

Question:

Answers:
If you put a bug that is too large for the trap to absorb, the dead animal causes the trap to rot off.

When I had one I fed mine gnats only. It's not necessary to feed them bugs anyway. It's fun to watch, but good soil and humidity are the most important things to have to have them grow. I had two in a fish bowl with celephane over the top and didn't feed them at all until I was showing them to a child.

What The Hell did you feed it?

Venus Flytraps are NOT indoor plants.
They need full sun and LOTS of humidity.

They die in potting soil. They need to be planted in a special type of moss (see websites, it's a weird name I can't spell. It starts with an "S"), and always kept wet.

Re-pot the plants if needed. Then place the pots in a shallow container of water and put it outside in the sun. It's probably already too late, but you can try.
Did you feed all traps at once, rather, is all of them closed? If so, there is your problem. Only feed one of them.
If a Venus Flytrap gets ahold of prey that is too large for the trap they will turn black and die. The insect should be only about 1/3 the size of the trap. Also after a trap has captured 3 or 4 meals it will turn black and die anyway. As long as the plant is sending up more traps it is still alive. Go to this site and check out the care sheet section.
