Outdoor Fountain?

Question:I have an outdoor 3 tier fountain made out of a resin material. Can I put chlorine in the water to keep it from getting algea or will it harm the pump??

Answers:
it shouldnt harm the pump but it might harm or eat the resin in the actual fountain. algae should not be a problem if the water is moving... its just if the water stops.. good luck!

Since the water will be moving, algea shouldn't be much of a problem, but a little chlorine shouldn't harm your pump.
You can use about a cap full of bleach per gallon of water
