What about Garlic? Are Mosquito's repulsed by Garlic ? If I eat a clove of garlic wait an hour will I repel

I take garlic tablets daily to keep mosquitos and fleas from biting me, one clove of garlic won't do it.

I have found that garlic helps to repel mosquitos...some but not all. The up side as well, garlic is a great medicinal enhancement. It's good for the circulatory system and a good anti-bacterial agent.
So, it can't hurt!
It may sound crazy but my brother is allergic to fly bites and he does not like to put on repellent all summer long. So what he does is putt two cloves of garlic in the microwave for 10-15 seconds, then puts it with a sprig of parsley and eats it in a slice of bread. He swears by this home remedy...
I just like garlic.
