What is the best fertilizer for my garden flowers and if threes another for grass in Phoenix ,AZ?

Question:

Answers:
Cow manure for flowers. If you don't want to deal with that check out all the different brands like Miracle Grow at Home Depot.

Grass needs a higher nitrogen fertilizer. They have bags with numbers. 10 10 10 is okay for grass but you may have to get a spreader. An alternative would be the spray bottle fertilizer. You attach it to your garden hose and spray your grass. On the rare occasions I've needed to fertilize grass I've done that. My grass does fine with plenty of water.

Well-rotted compost is the best thing you can add to your garden or flower beds.

Most communities offer free compost at the local landfill.

And for your grass, fertilize once in the fall with a granular fertilizer. If you buy the fertilizer, the hardware store will often loan you the spreader for free.

Or better yet, don't fertilize your lawn at all. It's not all that necessary and just adds more chemicals to the groundwater.
