Repellent for Raccoons?

I read that if you put Pinesol on the garbage they will not come near the trash. SO maybe if she puts some around her deck or doorways they might stay away. Keep all food sources locked up tight, and don't put any food out for animals like cat or dog food because they will come to eat it. They also hate to walk on newspaper, don't know how you would do that one really. Also place the Pinesol on the trash cans, after awhile they should get the picture that they are not wanted there. Depending on where you live, she might have to get someone that is certified in trapping coons and relocate them.
Good Luck
Fox urine. It comes in pellets. You can buy it on-line or at a decent hardware store or gardening center.
12 guage shotgun with 1 oz. slugs does the trick in a hurry
Collect your urine in mason jars for 3 weeks. Sprinkle the fermented results on a corn broom. Sweep the neighborhood carefully. Repeat.
Sprinkle red pepper on the ground. It will not harm the lawn. And no long lasting damage will come to the raccoons..it will make then sneeze and burns a little but they won't like it and will not come back.
Well, where I came from, the only part of the raccoon that you can't use is the chirping noise that they make. I would catch it in a trap, feed it dry dog food for a few weeks to fatten it up, kill it, bake it an serve it with collard greens and sweet potatoes.
I don't think I would spend too much time aggravating a raccoon, they will come at you. If you are seeing them in the daylight, something is wrong! They are sick and can be rabid.
Dont bother the Raccoons. They wont bother you.
