Weed and Seed question?
Question:Ok, so I have hella weeds in my grass. SO i put weed and seed in it, and on the bag it said do not allow water to get on it for 48 hours, because itll wash away the weed killing stuff.. so i turned off the water for 2 days. BIG MISTAKE.. now my grass has yellow spots, my gardner said its burned... How do i bring it back to life the quickest way. I need it all green and nice ASAP.. I live in a gated community, and the HOA are assholes and already sent me notices about the weeds, now theyll send something about the yellow spots.. HELP... Can I put ironite on it right now.. its only been 3 days since i put weed and feed...

no no no! you probably have yellow spots from over application. if too much fertilizer is concentrated in one area, it will certainly burn the turf. This time of year isn't best for that product.. spring is.
Run your sprinklers and get your gardener to hand rake the lawn to disperse any concentrated crystals.

Miracle grow for lawns in a dispenser that just connects to your hose. Soak the lawn good. This will help your grass but it might help your weeds if their not dead. If your still have a weed problem then use the weed and feed in the liquid form as well. Your grass needs water and is the top concern.
Don't put anything on it except water! Soak it heavily to try to wash out the over-applied chemicals.
Just water, water, water right now and as far as weeds go, use Weed-B-Gon. Won't harm the grass but will get rid of the weeds fast.
