I do I wire a sprinkler valve?

Question:I have 2 hunter PGV Valves and I have a Toro Ecxtra Timer, and I have 16 guage wire. I just dont know how to connect everything.

There will be 3 wires used, 1 wire will be used as the common. It will get put in the spot marked C or common and will be connected to one wire from each valve. The other wires will each go to the other wire on the other valves. (One wire per valve.)

Each valve will need a pair of wires. There should be sets of numbered terminals in your timer (I'm assuming this is actually a controller, not just a timer). Connect one end of the wire to two of the terminals and the other to the two wires that should be sticking out of the valve. It doesn't matter which of the two wires is connected.
