Hope you like lots of Popsicles or you can go to a craft store and pick up a few bags of 100 ct. You use wood glue, and you make a wall frame for each wall.
Two straight up and down and the rest length wise. Then when you get to the side with the hole mark the hole size(not to high and not to low) during a dry fit before gluing and cut out the hole (remember to put extra straight pieces flanking the hole for stability). Do the bottom the same way. Do the same as the sides for the roof.
Next add to extra straight pieces to the front and back in an arrow shape / | \ and make the peaks of the house that the roof with sit on.
Let glue set and work on the corner beams. Glue 4 sticks together for each corner (Roof & Floor included.) Glue them on the inside of the front and back pieces and along the roof line where the roof sits. But it to the edge but not over lapping (Try a dry fit before gluing down to make sure you have the right spot.)
Once glue is dried you join the back and front and sides and roof.
You let it sit and dry and you get a stick from the back yard not to thick for a perch. You box it in on the bottom with Popsicle sticks as many as the perch's thickness and glue it down.
Then you have to find some kind of roofing covering so the rain stays out. A plastic (Not Styrofoam) plate can be cut to fit.
Glue it in place with a strip of plastic narrow but the length of the house and put it on the top peak so it doesn't leak.
Finally you can add clapboards with Popsicle sticks, paint it, put on tree bark to look natural or what ever you want. (Since the house is not strong enough to hold on a string you can either glue it on a platform or wedge it in the V of tree branches and wire it down so it doesn't blow away in high winds.
