Another gladeola question?

Question:I posted the question about the gladeola bulbs, when they would come up. Well, someone wrote that they had dug up their bulbs for the winter. They live in Ohio and I live in Maine, basically the same weather. Does anyone from New England know if I should have taken the bulbs out for the winter and then replanted this spring. I planted them last spring?

Answers:
I live in Illinois and left gladiola bulbs in over the winter and they never came back. If you want to save them then you have to dig them up and store them for the winter.
