How to Kill grass?
Question:We're putting pre-made cement slabs and brick for our pathway. We bought grass killer but I was thinking that maybe we can spray the stuff then rotatil the area so it's done immediatley. I believe it's Kentucky Blue grass...?
Answers:
Use "Roundup" but you'll have to wait for about a week or so to till it in. The herbicide needs time to go through the system and to the roots to completely kill it. After you see some yellowing of the blades you can till it in. Mix at 2 oz. of roundup per gallon of water. This will do the job. Hope this answers your question.
PS.. Roundup has no residual effect in the soil. It breaks down readily and almost immediately when coming in contact with soil microbes.

Napalm----
preferably by aerial delivery
be sure to hose all adjacent structures down extremely well
and have the fire department standing by !!
It also a great idea to have a pilot and co-pilot that are very accurate in their "focus" !!
Use Burnout ll from St. Gabriel Labs. http://www.stgabriellabs.com/

Made of clove oil, plus other food grade ingredients, this product works faster than harsh chemicals. You’ll see amazing results in three hours and dead weeds and grass by morning. A second shot takes out unwanted plants right down to their roots. Yet, this material won’t harm the environment, animals or man.
I've used it successfully. You will need two sprayings to kill the roots. Good luck.
Your question isn't very clear. Is the grass growing in between the cement slabs or bricks? If so and if you have no nearby plants, just pour boiling water over the grass to kill them.
Herbicides are toxic to the environment. They can get into groundwater or aquatic and marine ecosystems by surface runoff and groundwater movement. Not to mention, they can be toxic to wildlife--including some insects that may be beneficial.
If you just have a weed problem in general, the best way is to pull out weeds by hand repeatedly and grow something in the empty spaces. Weeds only thrive in a garden, because you are not fully using all the empty patches. Just grow more plants to get rid of th weeds.
You might want to try some ornamental mosses, some creeping thyme, or mint as a groundcover.
Another method of killing weeds naturally is soil solarization. You put a plastic film over the weeds (raised about an inch or a few inches above the ground). The plastic film acts as a magnifying glass, cooking the weeds.
