Darn! squirrel troubles?

Question:i have a beautiful almond tree but like 60 times a day stuiped squirells come and eat them!!! and throw them on the ground!!!it makes me soo mad! i even have a net on the tree and htey still manage to get in! because of htem i dnt have one almond on my tree!!!!!!!! is there any EASY way i could prevent them?
i wish i could shoot them with a BB gun >:O

wrap a 2' tall layer of tin around the trunk of the tree. They will spin out on it and leave the tree alone.
