About how long will it take for a common sunflower to sprout ?

sunflowers have a very fast germination period. like a a week or 2
I just planted some in a pot and in my garden about a week ago and they are already up. So, about 7 days.
Mine took a little more than a week (like two), but then again I'm in Western Washington.. XD
My daughter and I sowed our seeds in an outside pot here in Kansas. We had tiny sprouts in a matter of 3-5 days.
