Fake Grass?
Question:We have two balconies on our apartment and want to put down something that we can walk on without getting splinters or having to worry about our puppy and nails. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find this stuff for a good price? We know Home Depot and Lowes carries it and no Target doesn't and yes I have looked online.

Depending on the size of the areas you are looking to cover, have you considered sythetic wood? The material will not splinter and is secured with screws that are counter sunk into the material. It is smooth, will not splinter, is available in a variety of colors, and looks just like wood.
A garden care or nursery might have some of what youre looking for. I dont know any chain stores like that. Try yellow pages or something like that
First, why fake grass, as opposed to say an outdoor area rug...Are you trying to imitate a lawn?...This almost never looks good(ok never)...I have yet to see any artificial turf that bears any resemblence to the real thing...Consider this...Buy a really good outdoor area rug, and a few choice containers, plant some smaller ornamental grasses, such as dwarf fountain grass, or bunny tail grass...I think you'll like the effect much better...
