Can dill be grown inside in pots? How much sun does it need?

Question:I love dill and would love to grow some, but I don't have a yard. Any plants that I grow would have to be window plants.

Answers:
Yes, it is very easy to grow from seed or from a starter you can find at the garden center. It could grow in a pot, but mine is in the ground. The plants grow to about 20 inches tall and then have a yellow flower on them. If left to go to seed, it becomes a bit invasive if in the ground (but then if you don't want it to give volunteers everywhere, you cut them off before giving more seed).

It needs a minimum of about 3 hours sun.

yes, its possible to put it in the plant box and it could be a window plants.
i suggest also if you like try to plants also basil, like what you said you like Dill. its the same green leaves that grow in the plant box and you can use it for the food also.
