How do you grow large Gerberas?

Question:What are any gardening secrets to growing them

Answers:
the answer above mine is good...but for huge blooms pinch off all but one or two of the buds. this works for most plants.
also feed lightly every couple of weeks during the growing season.
hope this helps.

I have a few Gerbera Daisy's and mom just gave me this tip and I tried it and it worked.

Pinch off the inside leaves to allow the upcoming buds / flowers to get more sun. The flowers will continue coming and be beautiful, just like you know Gerbera's to be!

Also remember to cut off any spent flowers to give more strength to the new flowers.

Good luck!
