Cavity wall plants?

Question:Ihave just had a cavity wall built in my front garden
the cavity is 4ins wide.It gets the sun all day (when it shines)
can anyone suggest some low maintenance plants for it

Answers:
Gazanias are great. They are perennials and come in a range of colors. They are very drought tolerant adn love full sun. Other plants you might want to consider would be Baby's Breath, Creeping Phlox which is an evergreen too and has loads of blooms in the early spring or summer or Lavender. These are just a few. If you wanted annuals then you could choose Nasturtiums or Impatients they spread nicely and would drape over the edges.
Hope this helps.

Tillandsias would give it a very tropical look.
