How much would you charge to cut a half achier lot(grass)?
Question:im gonna go cut one but i dont know how much is a decent price to charge
Answers:
Most professional gardeners charge by the hour and you should allow at least 6.00 GBP (about US$ 12) per hour, more if you are supplying your own equipment. The figure above is towards the minimum wage end of the scale and many gardeners charge a lot more. Half an acre is quite a lot and will probably take several hours depending upon the equipment you have (takes longer with a smaller mower). If this is your first time then you will just need to do it to see how long it takes you.
It all depends on.your lawn mower or thiers, your gas or thiers, is it flat or a hill, all push or ridding, is there a lot of trimming or nothing to trim? so the basic simple way would be thier tools, ridding, no trimming for $20.00 or to the extrem all hill done by push with tons of trimming and your tools and gas for $50.00. So if you stay in between that price gap you should be fine. and fair.
I pay $40.00 to have my acre yard mowed. He comes every 7-10 day. weedeats maybe every 2-3 weeks. Most of my yard is flat, but, I do have a fairly large bank also. He supplies everything and transports it himself.
