Are there any flowers that dogs avoid?

Question:

Answers:
Dogs dislike a lot of pungently scented leaves and flowers, although Marigolds (Calendula) work best if you actually want to deter a dog from entering a certain area of the garden. Some Tagetes marigolds also have this effect but be aware that many garden Tagetes marigolds these days have no aroma and therefore no effect- grown Calendulas to make sure.

marigolds. they smell bad to all animals, and insects too.
even better why not teach the dog to stay out of the flowers?
