How do you get rid of fallen mulberries?

Question:We have a mulberry tree. The fruit falls onto the gravel, is rotting, and attracting flies? Any ideas on how to extract the mulberries from the gravel?

Answers:
get chickens to eat the fallen berries... or try to rake them up.

you could try squirting it with a hose but the only sure way is to cut down the tree.
I generally just wait it out.
Invite a local raw food restaurant to come harvest the berries before they fall to the ground.

Or, simply harvest them yourself and make mulberry wine!

Gravel probably isn't the best choice for under any fruiting tree. Bare dirt is optimal, but paving stones are at least sweepable.
