How do I build up my low yard. It floods when it rains.?
Question:My yard is lower than my neighbours and it gets flooded when it rains. The water drains well but I want to avoid getting my neighbours run off in my yard.

the most important thing here I think is to avoid damage to the pool.Get some soil or stone and put around the base of the pool to form a slope away from the pool base. This will protect it. A lot of the other answers are good There is no one solution, but it will probably involve some major work. A wall might work or topsoil to bring the level up.
dirt to rasie dich to lower build a wall... sounds silly too do it... it will only casue a problem else where or with neighbours..
