Anyone know the going rate for Sod? I have abot 2500 sq ft I need to cover.?

Question:

Answers:
Sod prices vary by the area, type of sod & by contractor. I know here in NE Illinois that I can lay a very good quality full sun sod for $0.40 per sq. ft. Your job would cost you $1,000.00 assuming prep. was done & all I was doing was delivery & laying.

that just depends on what kind of sod ur wanting, they are atleast 5 diff kinds of grass to get, Bermuda, Micro Bermuda, St. Augustine, Hybrid Augustine and Fescue, Kentucky Rye. So you shoudl check with local nurseries, Home depot see what they charge, go from there. If you give them the dimensions that wil help alot
