You could grow any of these at various times in various situations. Be Specific.
If you can find tomato plants it is the perfect time to plant right now. From seeds will take longer but if you water through heat and dry they will work too.
Cilantro should be okay now also. BTW cilantro seeds equal coriander.
Garlic and onions form bulbs should have been in the ground much earlier. If you can find onion bulbs they will still grow and garlic bulbs will grow most any time.
The fall is the ideal time to start a garlic bed because at that time in nature garlic plants go dormant and sprout out again in spring. But if you wish they may be started now form bulbs found in yor grocery if the bulbs are not too dry.
Onions ar normally planted in early spring from small bunches of plants. They are biannual in nature going to seed the second year. Plants seeds in fall and harvest tthe next year at about this time. Few people plant onion seeds. Bulbs maybe available and will grow now if planted. Harvest soon after they sprout out and start growing for use as green onions. They will tend to make seed sprouts later and will be tough and not good. If you can find multipling onions plant them now and keep moist for harvest year after year.
Squash is good, beans, cucumbers or most other warm weather crops like okra or melons. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Put in some Pole Beans - 4 4" plants and you will be able to freeze a lot for the winter.
