Is there a difference in the growth process with plastic pots opposed to clay pots? Please explain.?

yes clay pots dry out quicker therefore you will have to water more in a clay pot . Plastic does not dry out that fast so less watering in plastic pots . good luck and I hope I helped.

Clay absorbs water so the plant has to be watered often. That's why I bought clay colored plastic pots.
