My jalapeno plant has tiny white insects all over the leaves. What are they?

Question:It hasn't yet begun to grow peppers. It's only been potted for about a month and a half. It's growing and the leaves don't have any brown spots or anything. At first glance they just look like tiny little white spots on the leaves, but upon closer inspection, they crawl. What should I do about them? I keep the plant indoors.

Answers:
Order some lady bugs spread them on the plant then cover the plants with with a netting material. The lady bugs will eat them. When properly released into your garden and landscape Ladybugs will feed on Aphids, Mealybugs, Scales, Spider mites, Thrip, Whitefly and some other types of pests, then mate. The females will lay eggs on the leaves of the plants, which will hatch into baby ladybug larva. The larva feed for 3 weeks before changing into the brick red beetle we are so familiar with. A natural solution. http://www.growquest.com/free_ladybugs.h...

probably whitefly and you can go to home depot and tell them and they should be able to find an insecticide that will help you . good luck and i hope I helped.
Sounds like white flies. To make a 'homemade' trap buy yellow 'solo' cups (the disposable plastic kind) and smear petroleum jelly on the cup. The flies are attracted to the yellow color and will become stuck in the jelly. just set the cup at the base of your pepper plant and in a few days the pests should all be gone.
Hope this helps. :)
