I need help with my weeds! Do they make weed killer you can hook up to a hose for faster and larger areas?

Question:I live in Arizona and my back yard is nothing but rocks. Weeds are growing like crazy. Its a large area and Im looking for a weed killer that I can hook up to my garden hose so Im not out there all day spraying. I also have a toddler and dog so it needs to be safe. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Answers:
There are sprayers specifically designed to be attached directly to the end of your garden hose that allow you apply the ferilizer or weedkiller that are suitable for this form of dispenser just as if you were watering your lawn.

Some are sold loose.

I have used one that came packaged with the liquid weed killer I bought. This meant I did not need to handle the weed killer to directly, but simply screwed it onto the hose.

I believe it was Weed-B-Gone.
It was convenient and worked great for me,
but I have a small yard.

There are several types of weed killer that hook up to your hose. Also, if this is an area you don't want plants to grow in, look into extended release formulas. Some of these last up to one year, so be sure you don't want to plant anything in that area. Spray poisons dry within 30 minutes for the most part, so as long as your child and dog are inside for this amount of time, they will be perfectly fine.
Yes they do. I don't know the name.
If you want to kill all weeds and vegetation and keep it from growing back for up to a year use a "Total Weed Killer" like Barren. Barren is "ready to use" so all you have to do is pour it into a hose sprayer container and turn it on. It will kill all vegetation on contact and then its residual action will stay in the soil to stop re-growth for up to a year.
You can get Industrial strength Barren direct here;
