Answers:
what kind of plant is it? How often do you water it?
If the plant is a woody plant and has bark - trees, shrubs, azalias, etc. - the easiest way to tell if it is alive is to gently scrape away a small piece of bark with your fingernail. If the layer directly benieth the beark is green, it is alive, if there is no green layer, it is dead.
Almos tall plants should be allowed to almost completely dry out between waterings if they are in a pot to avoid root rot. In general most plants should be watered once a week or so if it indoors and every 3-4 days if kept outdoors.
For now, move the plants out of the sun. If indoors, place then near a window so they get light, but do not get direct sun, if outdoors move them into a shaded area.
If they have not been watered in the last day or so, water them now and keep them moist for a few days, after that stat watering like I discussedabove.
Once the plant has stopped drooping, you can move it back into sunlight.
They may not be dead yet. If not watering them should bring them back.
If you can find the time to water them, I suggest getting a sprinkler with a timer for you faucet. That way your plants will get watered automatically.
Soak them in water, Then put them in some light.
When the plant leaves droop it signals that the plant is conserving moisture. A simple watering might do the trick or you might need to move the plant to a more shaded location. Good luck---
